Low cost student dog grooming services are available by our student pet groomers at our fabulous Dog Groomer Training Academy in beautiful Yardley, PA, Mon-Fri drop off 10:30am. pick up 2:30pm by appointment. Since our students are learning full doggie haircuts, discounted dog grooming is for full bath and haircut grooming sessions. Students do not perform bath only dog grooms. Since students are new to dog grooming, we only book well behaved dogs who are well socialized and good on the grooming table. All dogs that enter the school are required to be on a regular, monthly flea/tick treatment.
New clients, after clicking the above registration button, please email your dog's Rabies certificate to: doggroomingschoolofpa@gmail.com. Please send an official Rabies certificate from your vet and not an invoice or vaccine history. Your vet will be happy to email it to you if you don't have a copy on file. All appointments are made by phone. Upon receiving the New Client Registration and Rabies certificate, a staff member will call you to schedule your appointment by phone and you will receive a text confirmation that the appointment is confirmed and finalized after you speak with a staff member. We cannot schedule an appointment until you register online and email your dog's Rabies certificate. Existing clients, please call us to schedule an appointment.

Drop off and Pick Up
Mon-Fri drop off 10:30am, pick up 2:30pm. Students will begin working on their dogs promptly at 10:30am. Kindly drop off promptly so the student is not in class without a model dog. Your dog will not be ready early. If you cannot pick-up at 2:30pm, and you need your dog earlier or later, please choose another day. Please pick up your dog promptly at 2:30pm. Any pet not retrieved at 2:30pm will be subjected to a waiting fee, which is $25 for every fifteen minutes past 2:30pm and $50 for every fifteen minutes past closing time, which is 3pm. We do not have boarding facilities. We cannot rebook any clients who are late for drop off or pick up.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Because we are a school, cancellations and no-shows leave a student without a dog to work on during class. Most students commute several hours each day to attend class and work on their assigned dogs, while others are paying to stay in local hotels. We assign each student a dog every day. Once you make an appointment, we respectfully request that you keep the appointment. In the case of emergency, please be considerate and call in any cancellations at least 24 business hours in advance or a cancellation fee of $35 per dog scheduled will be billed. Business hours are defined as Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. We will not rebook any clients that are no-shows or who cancel the same day of the their appointment.
Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
All clients must sign a Student Grooming Release and Hold Harmless Agreement upon dropping their pet: Student Grooming Release. Grooming services are performed exclusively by student groomers, which is why the cost is significantly less than using a professional, experienced Dog Groomer. Clients must also take into consideration that their dog is being groomed by a student; therefore, the groom may not be perfect since the student is new and just learning their craft. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident. If Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania feels it is serious, and the owner is not on-site, Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania will seek immediate veterinary care for your animal. Veterinary costs will be the responsibility of the animal's owner. In consideration for discounted grooming services provided by student groomers, client hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless, Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania and, its owner, employees, students and affiliates (hereinafter referred to as releasees) from and against any and all liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including attorney fees, resulting from any service provided or injury, including death to client’s pet(s), whether caused by the negligence of the releasees, or otherwise, while in our care or after our services have been completed. There are no refunds or store credit for any dog grooming services. We will not be held responsible for any vet bills that may be incurred during student grooming. All sales are final.
