Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania in Yardley, PA

Our supervised student groomers provide affordable, full-service dog grooming including baths, haircuts, nail trimming, and breed-standard clips. While training the next generation of professional pet groomers, we deliver services in a calm, controlled environment.

We proudly serve pet owners in Yardley, Morrisville, Langhorne, Newtown, Washington Crossing, and surrounding Bucks County communities, offering hands-on, professionally supervised grooming at a fraction of the cost of traditional salons.

📅 Scheduling & Availability

Before calling to book, please check our school calendar below to confirm when student grooming sessions are in session. Students begin grooming promptly at 10:30 AM. Please arrive on time – late arrivals will not be re-booked.

11/16–11/20, 11/30–12/18 (Closed 11/23–11/27 for Thanksgiving Week)

Important Notes:

• Dogs are not ready before 2:30 PM.
• Early or late pick-ups require scheduling on another day

Waiting Fees:

• $25 for every 15 minutes after 2:30 PM
• $50 for every 15 minutes after 3:00 PM (closing time)

We do not offer boarding services. Clients late for drop-off or pick up will not be re-booked.

Full bath and haircut sessions only. All dogs must be well-behaved, socialized, and on a regular flea/tick prevention program.

• Maximum grooming age: 12 years
• Senior dogs: Professional grooming through a veterinarian is recommended

🐾 New Client Registration

To register a new dog for student grooming:

1. Click the Registration button above to fill out the form.
2. Email your dog’s official Rabies certificate (not an invoice or vaccine history) to:

3. Email a photo of your dog. (Send separate photos for each dog if registering multiple.)

Booking Process:

• Once we receive your registration and Rabies certificate, a staff member will call to schedule your appointment.
• A text confirmation will be sent once the appointment is finalized.
• Note: Appointments cannot be scheduled until both the registration form and Rabies certificate are received.

🐶 Required Vaccinations

For the health of all pets in our care, every dog must be up to date on the following vaccinations before entering the salon:

• Rabies
• DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Email proof of vaccinations before calling to schedule your appointment. This ensures a safe environment for all dogs and staff.

📞 Cancellations & No-Shows

Our program depends on every dog being assigned to a student each day. Many students travel long distances, paying for airfare, hotels, or Airbnbs. Last-minute cancellations can prevent students from practicing, causing hardship for both students and staff.

Policy:

• Plan to keep your appointment.
• In emergencies, cancel at least 24 business hours in advance to avoid fees.
• Late cancellations: $35 per scheduled dog.
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows: Clients will not be rebooked.

Your consideration helps students complete their hands-on training and ensures a smooth experience for everyone.

📝 Student Grooming Release & Hold Harmless Agreement

All clients must sign a release form at drop-off.

Please understand:

• Your dog is groomed by a student learning the craft. Results may not be perfect.
• Your pet’s safety and comfort are top priorities.

In case of an accident:

• We will notify you immediately.
• If serious and you are not on-site, we will seek veterinary care.
• Veterinary costs are the owner’s responsibility.

By using our services, you agree to:

• Indemnify and hold harmless Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania, its owners, employees, students, and affiliates from any liability, costs, or damages resulting from grooming services, injuries, or death to your pet, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Important:

• We do not offer refunds or store credit.
• We are not responsible for any veterinary bills.
• All sales are final.
