At The Yardley House, you can cook your own meals, keep groceries in a full kitchen, do laundry whenever you want, relax in your own living room, and enjoy the privacy of an entire home.

🐶 Bring Your Dog With You
Up to 2 approved dogs are welcome at The Yardley House. Due to allergies, cats are not permitted.
A pet fee applies.
Please note that the yard is not fenced.
The historic interior staircase is narrow and very steep, and some dogs may have difficulty navigating it safely. Guests should use extra caution with dogs on the stairs and should carry, assist, or prevent the dog from using the staircase when appropriate.
Guests are responsible for determining whether the staircase is safe and appropriate for their individual dog.
💰 Preferred Student Direct-Booking Rate
Students attending Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania may reserve The Yardley House directly at a preferred student rate.
For a standard 26-night class stay, the current direct-booking rate is approximately:
$5,450 including applicable lodging taxes
A separate $500 refundable security deposit is required.
Rates may vary if you arrive earlier, stay additional nights, select different dates, or bring approved pets.
All stays are limited to a maximum of 28 consecutive nights.
🚨 Only One Student Gets This Stay Per Class
The Yardley House is available to just one student per class session.
Once it is reserved for those dates, it’s gone.
If you want the closest lodging to school, your own historic home, the canal-side sunporch, two full bathrooms, and space to settle in for the month, book early.
🏡 A Real Piece of Historic Yardley
The Yardley House is believed to date to the early to mid-1800s and still has the warmth and character that make historic Yardley homes so special.
Original wide-plank floors, exposed beams, the canal-side setting, and the screened sunporch give the home a personality all its own.
Because this is an authentic historic home, the staircase leading to the second-floor bedrooms is narrower and significantly steeper than stairs found in modern construction.
The property may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations, physical disabilities affecting stair use or balance, or very young children.
Guests should use the handrail and exercise caution on the stairs.
